Course Description: Advanced Animal Science will impart information about the care and management of domestic animals. This course includes lecture/discussion, labs, and individual research to address topics in animal nutrition, health, behavior, selection, reproduction, animal welfare, and product processing and marketing. Students may study a specific animal health or behavioral issue so they may learn how to care for and maintain domestic animals as a more inclusive study.
Students will be expected to check their email once a day.
Students will be expected to check assignments for feedback within 24 hours of submitting.
Students are expected to complete every unit of the course
Students are expected to plan and carry out a Supervised Agricultural Experience Program.
Students will be asked to join the Lawrence Free State FFA.
Students will be expected to meet all deadlines.

Grades: Grades will be determined by total pointsearned.
